The Whisky 16 is an agile playboat for coastal waters.  This boat is specifically designed by Nigel Foster to handle well in rough water and strong currents, making it a joy to paddle in the surf.   While the more experienced paddler will surely love the way this boat handles in more challenging conditions, its stablity and  maneuverablity also make it an ideal boat for less experienced paddlers to develop their skills.  The Whisky 16 comes standardly equipt with oval storage hatches on the bow and the stern, a large round day hatch located directly behind the cockpit, a smaller round hatch in front of the cockpit and a compass recess on the foredeck.  A retractable skeg is standard and an additional rudder is optional.
